1st Post

I love Back to the Future. Ever since I was 3 or 4 years old I have loved that movie. In the movie, Marty asks Doc Brown a question about how the Delorean runs.

Marty: "This is heavy-duty, Doc, This is great. Does it run on regular unleaded gasoline?"

Doc: "Unfortunately no, it requires something with a little more kick, Plutonium!"

I figured that if someone needed just a little more kick in their home movie experience, Plutonium Home Media Solutions would deliver.

I have felt like this was a good idea, and that it is important to write down the things that I deal with whenever I work with electronics. I hope to be able to teach others and help them understand how complicated it can be. I also hope that it will give people good ideas on how they can improve their own movie watching experience at home.

Twice a week, I have the task of staying in a hotel. I always feel cheated.  The TVs are not only small, but old. The speakers don't work well, and they distort even at low volume levels.  I usually only watch regular network TV, but sometimes I bring my X-box 360 or Playstation 3. I always feel like I can't read the text on the games, the sound is, of course, distorted, and I just never get the same enjoyable experience that I get when I am home. I feel like if this particular hotel were to upgrade to HDTV, that everyone would benefit and be more likely to come back and stay here again. I, unfortunately, am bound to return because of my day job.  So all I can do is be excited to return home to watch a good movie, tv show, or play a good video game.

More exciting things to come...... pictures, electronics, toys, all the good stuff.  (Promise) :)
